Our Beliefs

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God (2 Timothy 3:16 and 2 Peter 1:19-21),

God is the creator 

God is the creator of heaven and earth (Genesis 1). He created man in His own image (Genesis 1:27). All things were created by God and for god, that in all things, God must have pre-eminence (Colossians 1:16-18).

We believe that man was created without sin and that man was good in the sight of God (Genesis 1:31). Through the sin of disobedience, man lost relationship with God (Genesis 3). Sin brings death; hence man died a spiritual death, following his act of disobedience. However, God being merciful, made a way to redeem man back to life (Genesis 3:15).

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus is God’s plan of salvation for all of mankind (Matthew 1:18-25).

Jesus is God himself manifested in flesh. Jesus is a hundred percent God, as he is a hundred percent man (1 Timothy 3:16). We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He died, He was buried, and He rose up from the dead for our redemption (Revelation 1:18). We are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:18).

God is One

We believe that God is one spirit, with three manifestations – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Spirit in the Church St John 1:16 and 1 Timothy 3:16).

Salvation

God’s formula for salvation requires for us to repent of our sins, be baptized in Jesus’ name, receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38), and live a sanctified life that is pleasing in His sight. One cannot be saved any other way (Acts 4:12).
